I'm trying to get into this game, it has all the right elements, yet none of them quite click. The character customisation is pretty so-so. I for one would like the option to name my characters, but that a specific thing. To me the gameplay feels quite clunky and it's been one of the only apps I used that would require me to turn off apps like Spotify or YouTube Music in order for it to be running at a decent frames per second. It has potential, but needs some grinding for it to be called a gem.

The art is fun, but the screen is cluttered. Chest mechanic is neat, chests fly by so fast I miss them. Trading out-of-game lifespan for the ability to play the game feels bad. The enemy curve isn't horrible but it does feel like power spikes lead to forced plateaus to reinforce the lifespan trade mechanic. Looks good, plays smooth, armor -names- don't matter but there's a lot of them. 3 stars.
