I have been reading reviews of people who started having trouble with the accessibility feature where it can read to you. My app also randomly started having this trouble. It would skip pages when IT was reading or when I would "turn" the page It would skip a page or stay on the same page 2 or 3 times when I was trying to turn to the next. so I did re-install and this did not help, HOWEVER, I turned the "page curl" off and changed it to "page slide" and this seemed to fix that issue for me.

Had to download this for a book unavailable on my preferred platform, Google Books. Opening the app treats you to a spinning wheel that lasts 3 seconds where you cannot do anything. Get used to this because it will happen every other time you swipe to turn the page and it takes you back to your library because you swiped too much (you have to use a smaller motion for just the page). I would recommend just getting a pdf reader rather than use this unoptimized abomination.
