2024-09-03 | I purchased one of the two subscription based items, within the game client, on a new account. This subscription was then applied to a completely different account on a different device, where it is not wanted and will not be used. I immediately contacted support and was told there's nothing they can do??! BS, it's your game, Account A bought an item and Account B was flagged as given that item. Just fix it! Or at the VERY LEAST apologize and refund it. They've done nothing but shrug.
2023-05-03 | I absolutely HATE games that make you go thru the tutorial and not give you the chance to opt out or load your progress. I the game play is fine and the graphics are good. But it lacks originality. I mean it's still fun for the most part but there are dozens of games with similar concepts this just a different theme.
2022-04-20 | I love this game, and I honestly just wish it loved me back. The lag and constant websocket errors make the game frustrating to play, and the dragon UI is sorely in need of some updates to make late-game play more functional. The community is great though, and the game is fun. I just wish they'd figure out some of the core functionality issues.
2021-05-29 | Not only there's the occasional log in issue. But where this game needs the most improvement is *a fair ranking system*. Low city levels are not able to rank in any events. There for less rewards and less to work towards. Until you reach a high city level through months (maybe years) of game play or spending a lot of money then maybe you'll stand a chance against hundreds of other players. Basically you get all the rewards and resources after you finnish leveling and unlocking nearly everything.
2020-09-20 | Fun game... I want to warn new players about this game. It is definitely fun, but the developers do not care about smaller players. I cannot grow in power due to the fact that the shields are too expensive to keep myself protected. Add to that the fact that when your shield drops in a FFA, an attacking character can hit multiple times. Example? The last FFA, I got attacked 27 times by the same person, I finally got a shield up and when it ran out, I got attacked 20 more times. Come on ATA.
2020-09-12 | Bit laggy and buggy but still fun I continue to play this game and make friends on the way. Another thing I like is the new content being posted out lately to help spike more intrest with the game. One thing for sure is maybe make attacking a little less effective as so many people go around and zero players now espescially if they pay to play.
2020-08-14 | I was going to give this a 2 star for lagging and lack of a city editor and just kinda clunky design. But compared to other games on the market, this one is pretty generous with it's in game currency. But you still have to pay ridiculous amounts($10) to get extra items from events or to even have a 2nd builder. Here's a huge thing: no one needs a 2nd builder. They need a 2nd researcher. This is an annoying problem most of these games have. Otherwise this game is... on par with most others.
2020-06-07 | Pay to win to the extreme. The game itself is great but it's like most other MMO's. The top players spend a fortune (thousands of dollars a month) to be able to completely wipe out your castle. The only way to rebuild your troops once you've been wiped out (aka zeroed), is to either spend huge money to rebuild or wait months and months to rebuild. Either way, there will be always be someone spending 10 x more and you'll just get zeroed again. Toxic game.
2020-04-11 | I've played this app since the beginning, and as well as the integration with players in other countries is for me, the lag issues they've struggled controlling..have ruined the gameplay landscape. Beyond that, the ideas and events are cool. Waiting 10-20 seconds for an action to start just doesnt work for me.
2020-01-26 | 2+years of play review: Great for the first month or two. The economy for allies ( how you boost your strength and arguably the most important resource) is on a continuous downwards spiral. They compensate by allowing you to have a bigger army, which requires you to have more at risk when getting zeroed. So it's an escalating risk at no appreciable reward system. They've also introduced harsh pay to win upgrades to the cities. Do not recommend starting this game. |
