I've really been enjoying this app, and I find its in-app economy very fair, especially for a free app. I love that they support fringe languages such as Esperanto and Interslavic, and although I came here for Interslavic (only to discover that I can't learn it from scratch here), I stayed for Esperanto. I really enjoy exercising my vocabulary from the creative writing exercises this app requires.

This app is one of the best tool to learn writing (for languages learner). I've gotten so much benefit using it, especially when I need to expand my vocabs, arrange some sentences, and remember grammar structure of my target languages. Thank you so much 👍

Lots of languages available but NOT FOR BEGINNERS. You're given an image and you have to describe it in a language you don't know to a partner, so they can guess what the image is. If I have zero words of vocabulary, that's not super helpful? I now realize from reading reviews that the developers are very specific about this being intended for intermediate level learners. I'd LOVE for them to retitle the game Polygloss: PRACTICE Languages then. It's misleading + frustrating.

Absolutely love this app! So much fun. This game is not for absolute beginners, you must have a basic understanding of grammar and at least a dictionary around. But it gives you a place to *practice* using your target language in a community where others can help correct and teach in short chunks. It's a fun way to practice and it supports and written language, there's no waiting for an update to support your conlang or lesser known. languages. I highly recommend this app!

I really enjoy this app! It's a fun way to practice different languages, it just needs more active users to be even better! The fact that I get no ads whatsoever is astounding as well.

This is an excellent app if you're in the intermediate stage and you want to practice writing and expressing yourself. I've been using this for Esperanto and it's been very helpful. I also plan to use this for Spanish, French and any other language I plan to study.

A fun way to share learning a language with strangers. It makes you think about what you want to say, and about what the other person is trying to say, without the pressure of real time interaction. Mainly text, but there is an audio option for subscribers. It's handy to have in-built Google translate to help out when stuck - look for the dots to open it. I don't know what some of the pictures are, but that can help creativity, like playing pictionary. Some images are quite similar - beware ;-)

This underrated game is NOT for absolute beginners. There are many options to choose from when creating a match and you can PRACTICE grammar in supported languages ranging from beginner sentences such as "I like..." to intermediate and advanced ones. You can also start matches with people on a beginner level or even native level. The only problem this game has is its limited player base. Overall, this is a really fun game that is overlooked and underrated. I hope more people play this game!
