An easy to use IKEv2/IPsec-based VPN client.

The strongSwan VPN Client is the official Android port of the popular strongSwan VPN solution, offering an easy-to-use, secure VPN client based on the IKEv2 and IPsec protocols. Designed for Android 4+ devices, it leverages the platform's VpnService API to establish encrypted VPN connections providing enhanced privacy and security.

Key features include support for various authentication methods such as username/password EAP (including EAP-MSCHAPv2, EAP-MD5, and EAP-GTC) and certificate-based authentication (RSA/ECDSA and EAP-TLS). It supports MOBIKE for mobility and connectivity changes, IKEv2 fragmentation, and advanced IPsec encryption algorithms like AES-CBC, AES-GCM, ChaCha20/Poly1305, and SHA1/SHA2.

The client allows split-tunneling to route specific traffic through the VPN and per-app VPN to include or exclude certain apps from the VPN tunnel. VPN profiles can be imported, and enterprise-managed configurations are supported. doesn't support l2tp. Ike comes built into android which makes me wonder why this app was ever made. gets 2 stars for being the only VPN client I can find on the play store with the ability to setup private VPN connections
