Great app, used to own one of these, and also to all of the people asking why location is needed, it is probably just for connectivity so that the app can locate you and the robot and provide data to the bluetooth, I am by no means an expert, but this is normally what it is used for.

Awful app. Access to location is required to load the app (why?), reluctantly accepting this I then find that bluetooth cannot connect through the app even though the robot can be detected through normal bluetooth searching (why?). Tried through 2 phones and 3 tablets, same result. Manual programming does work but that isn't why I bought this. Don't waste your money until these issues are resolved.
