User reviews
Users appreciate the SRF/YSS app as a convenient and well-designed tool for accessing spiritual lessons, meditation groups, and auxiliary materials. The app supports spiritual growth through multiple media formats and enables study on the go. However, common issues include lack of native eBook reading capability, occasional content update delays, no resume position for reading lessons, and limited language options. Additionally, some users find the UI elements like page navigation and color schemes less user-friendly. Overall, the app is highly valued but could improve in technical and accessibility areas.
Pros
- Provides easy access to SRF/YSS lessons and spiritual content on the go.
- Includes useful features like online meditation participation and read aloud options for lessons.
- The app is generally easy to navigate and well designed.
- Auxiliary materials like videos, audio, and articles enrich the spiritual experience.
- Allows spiritual progress and study anytime, fitting well into users' busy lifestyles.
Cons
- Lacks built-in eBook reader; requires third-party apps to read downloaded eBooks.
- Some content updates and lessons occasionally delay or fail to load properly.
- No option to save reading progress or remember last place in lessons.
- Limited language support; mostly English with a request for multiple language options.
- Certain UI features like page-flip navigation and color schemes make reading difficult for some users.

Jai Guru, The overall experience is great, a small suggestion to include a bookstore section as well, so we could access all the e books we bought on yss bookstore. If that's not possible, an option to upload books locally so we can upload the ebooks.

I use the app to participate in worldwide group meditations 7am and 7pm daily (and there are other timeslots to choose from, as well). It is easier for me knowing there are others meditating along with me, than my trying to meditate alone. I also set the SRF Lessons (which are also available through the app) to a "read aloud" setting, and listen to them while I am driving, a great way to review them on a regular basis. And there are other features, as well. I recommend this app. 👍
