Needs improvement however. 3 issues so far : 1) Value field should appear shrinked by default, since long values can demand much scrolling to navigate past them 2) Orange is aggressive, there should be a way to choose a calmer theme for UI 3) there is a bug with the "Show text" rendition, occuring with values containing Html entities such as & #171; 4) I suggest a bookmark system to jump to a path quickly. | 2024-11-03 |  | | NOV 2024 : Every now and again I find an app that is the solution to a specific yet one-off requirement. And said app is well-designed, highly functional, easy on the eyes and easy to use. JSON & XML Tool is such an app. Most useful in converting a large single line json into indented readable multiline json which can be saved to a file. JMESPath transform, XML/JSON conversion, search : all great features. Bought Premium. Thanks dev! |

This myopic app is limited to opening files in the download folder, ignoring the possibility a file is created or converted by another app in its own directory. Why should the user be required to move a file to the download folder so this app can open it? |

Caution *** if you leave the app with unsaved additions/edits, when you return the app reloads the active file and loses your changes!! *** ~ bit frustrating, that. (Four *s otherwise) Has a handy entry search option, but doesn't offer global changes to matching entries. |

I didn't have to sign up for an account or give my email address to anyone. User Interface is simple, clean, straightforward and easy to use. I only planned to look at a file & remove the app but I think I will keep this on my device because of the file size in case I ever need it again. |
