Good game but where can we select the explorer mode which allows us to save in shops? Wont give this 5 star until you tell me

Is there a way to turn on explorer mode because it just looks n feels like any other pixel dungeon was rlly hoping for that respawn but nothing happened might be me. But I'm not too sure help me out here
