User reviews
Capybara Go! is praised for its charming visuals, engaging auto-battler gameplay, and optional ads that don't disrupt play. It's enjoyable for free players, especially casual ones. However, multiple reviews highlight aggressive monetization tactics, frequent paywalls, and game balance issues that frustrate non-paying players. The UI is complex and cluttered with persistent alerts, making navigation tedious. Performance glitches and ad burden also detract from the experience, though the core gameplay loop remains engaging.
Pros
- Cute and appealing art style and animations.
- Engaging and satisfying gameplay loop with auto-battle mechanics.
- No forced ads; ads are optional and offer bonuses.
- Can be played free-to-play with reasonable progression for casual players.
- Game features numerous activities, events, and challenges keeping it engaging.
Cons
- Highly predatory monetization with many microtransactions and pay-to-win elements.
- Steep difficulty and power walls that push players towards spending money to progress.
- Overly intrusive and persistent in-game alerts/notifications that don't clear easily.
- UI is cluttered and complicated with many pages and repeated clicking, causing frustration.
- Game performance issues like lagging and forced restarts upon interruptions.
- Ad frequency can be excessive and ads sometimes behave annoyingly (multiple close buttons, forced Play Store openings).

It's a very predatory game. Some things you can only get with cash; you can't just use diamonds. Those items are not just cosmetic either. The bigger issue is some items have hidden damage caps that aren't mentioned. One ring for example says it does additional 1.5% of targets hp as damage but it actually caps at 10x your attack, which is MUCH less damage. They refuse to do anything about it and you don't find out until you've invested and upgraded the ring to the next tier.

Game is fun love the art. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the in game notices (the red exclamation points that let you know that something has been unlocked or hasn't been completed) having these isn't the problem the problem is that they never go away. Like I tap on the page connected to it and acknowledge that there is something there I no longer need to be alerted, if this little thing can be fixed definitely worth the 5 stars.
