User reviews
Users generally find Enso: Mindful Meditation relaxing with calming music and innovative interactive meditation gameplay. However, many report frustration with the difficult 'De-Stress' level and overly long tutorial that hampers flow. Additionally, frequent forced returns to the intro or tutorial despite prior progress frustrate users. Precise touch controls add stress instead of relaxation. Users appreciate the app's soothing ambiance, progress tracking, and gentle ads but desire more control over session length and music options.
Pros
- Very relaxing and meditative experience for most users.
- Calming and soothing music and graphics that help create a zen environment.
- Unique interactive meditation concept with engaging gameplay elements.
- Tracks user progress over time, which motivates continued use.
- Non-intrusive ads that don't disrupt the meditation experience.
Cons
- The 'De-Stress' level (level 3) is frustratingly difficult or stressful; users get kicked out frequently due to exact timing or speed requirements.
- The tutorial is excessively long and repetitive, causing impatience and sometimes leading to app abandonment.
- App often forces users back to the intro or tutorial despite progress, causing frustration and distrust.
- Touch controls require almost exact precision, which detracts from the relaxing experience.
- Some users want more flexible session time options and ability to turn off music to use their own.

I liked it at first, but now the app keeps pushing me back to the intro, even though I've already done several of the levels already. It's pushing me to purchase the paid version. Nope, not when you've already taken away levels that were presented as free. How can I trust that you will deliver what you're selling when you have already misrepresented your product once? This is the only recent meditation app I've found that isn't just glorified relaxation tapes, but the pay wall is unacceptable

Couldn't make it through tutorial - it takes forever not showing you much. Effects are average.
