Microwave Power Density

The Microwave Power Density Chrome extension is a handy tool for engineers and technicians working with microwave communication links. It allows users to quickly calculate the power density in the main beam of a tower-mounted antenna by inputting the antenna gain (in dB), transmitter power (in Watts), and distance from the antenna (in meters).

For example, entering a gain of 40 dB, transmitter power of 5 Watts, and distance of 20 meters will yield a power density of approximately 9.95 W/m². This easy-to-use app aids in evaluating radiation levels and optimizing microwave link performance efficiently.
