User reviews
Users generally appreciate the app's user-friendly interface and its capability for remote camera monitoring, especially when on the move. However, multiple recent updates have introduced significant issues, most notably a restrictive 5-minute live streaming limit forcing constant refreshes. The app often experiences slow performance, crashes, and connectivity problems, especially when accessing cameras outside the local Wi-Fi network. Additional frustrations include buggy camera preset handling, playback errors, security features lacking user-linked client details, and poor customer support, making the overall user experience disappointing for many.
Pros
- User friendly interface with good parameterization.
- Allows remote monitoring of cameras and devices.
- Good for on-the-move monitoring when functional.
- Supports multiple camera connections and device management.
- Integration with Hikvision hardware and systems.
Cons
- Live streaming is limited to 5-minute intervals requiring manual refresh, which is highly annoying.
- App has become slow and buggy after recent updates, including slow loading and crashes.
- Issues with device connectivity, especially when not on the same Wi-Fi network as the cameras.
- Problems with camera presets resetting to default or Chinese settings.
- Limited password input (12 characters) causes setup issues.
- Playback features are problematic or error-prone on Android versions.
- Lack of client and user connection details within the app, causing security concerns.
- Poor customer support and unresponsive to issues raised by users.

Unable to view camera when away from the location. Only when we are connected to the same network(wifi) as the DVR is connected, able to view.i.e when we are at location where cameras are installed. If we go out and try to view camera using mobile network or other wifi network the app shows camera offline. Previously I was able to view cams away from location also. Past one month unable to view cam in other networks.

The app was basically working well until the last update. I have a hikvision router at home and I installed the app for easy management. After the last update, I am adding the router(manually since I'm connected to the same network) but the device is not being shown on the dashboard anymore despite the app saying that the device has been added successfully.
