User reviews
Users find Sushi Empire Tycoon fun with cute graphics and good management elements, but are frustrated by frequent intrusive ads and expensive ad removal. Progression is limited by scarce research tokens obtainable mostly through many ads or payments, causing slow gameplay and tedious waiting times. Some bugs and saving issues are reported, although developers are prompt in addressing them. Overall, the game has potential but is hampered by aggressive monetization and gameplay bottlenecks.
Pros
- Fun and entertaining gameplay with a cute art style and good graphics.
- Good management and idle game aspects that appeal to fans of simulation games.
- Developers are responsive and quick to fix bugs according to some user feedback.
Cons
- Excessive and intrusive advertisements that disrupt gameplay frequently, including ads every 30 seconds.
- The high cost of removing ads ($14-$15) is considered unreasonable by many users.
- Progression is heavily limited by the need for rare 'purple research tokens' which are difficult to earn without paying or watching many ads.
- Slow progression and long wait times for building upgrades, making gameplay tedious.
- Issues with saving progress and unstable game features like quest loading and AI pathfinding bugs.

So many obtrusive ads There are so many ads that happen in this game and they fool you for the first little bit of the game and then start bombarding you with ads. Not to mention that removing ads from this game is $14. Way too expensive. I think $5 max is a reasonable price. Game is fun outside of this but the increase of ads has me stopped playing the game.

Mobile games aren't about passing time anymore it's about cramming ads into every interaction in the game. I can't farm materials without an ad popping up. I water those crops, another ad. I harvest them, another ad. I upgrade anything, ad. The tutorials spread out are annoying and time-consuming as well. Go figure with ads that interrupt and make them take longer. Even just clicking through the dialog brings an ad. Having to fork up $15 to remove ads is ridiculous, too. I uninstalled. Not worth
