User reviews
Users find Cubes Empire Champions addictive and fun with generous rewards, making it suitable for casual short play sessions. However, many reviews criticize the app for overwhelming ads after every level, frequent crashes, and occasional frustrating difficulty spikes that seem to incentivize purchases. Additional issues include slow animations, connectivity problems, and some frustrating game mechanics changes, leading to mixed experiences among players.
Pros
- The game is fun and addictive with challenging levels that keep players engaged.
- Generous with in-game rewards and power-ups, including unlimited lives and extra moves.
- Suitable for casual play during short breaks due to its easy-to-understand mechanics and reasonable difficulty.
- Progression is rewarding and allows players to learn new strategies over time.
- No annoying ads reported by some users, indicating possible ad-free experiences or versions.
Cons
- Excessive advertisements, often occurring between every level, frustrating users and disrupting gameplay.
- Game instability issues such as frequent crashes and freezing, leading to lost progress.
- Some upper levels are perceived as nearly impossible or unfair without purchasing boosters, indicating a pay-to-win approach.
- Slow animations and transitions that detract from smooth gameplay experience.
- Issues with connectivity, especially with social features like Facebook and team joining.
- Game mechanics may feel frustrating due to changed obstacle hit requirements and ineffective power-up combinations.

I used to love this game. Now, you will go through 30 (5 games) to 42 (7 games) losing. If you are buying lives, sometimes it takes more lives to win. They have it so that all of the match cubes aren't even close to any of the obstacles you need to get past to win. Also, they have changed the number of times you need to hit an obstacle before it will "blow up" or (disappear.) Very frustrating and disheartening when all you want to do is relax and enjoy yourself.

The game lags, the animations slow things down. It's slow going from one screen to another. Lots of ads. After EVERY level. One of the worst match 3 games. I DO NOT have this issue with other games. It's the way the game was developed to be slower. It's not glitchy, it's a slowwwww smooth transition between moves and screens. It's poorly developed, too much went into the annoying animations instead of game play.
