User reviews
Users find PowerChart Touch offers basic access to patient schedules and simple order placements, helpful in urgent scenarios. However, the app suffers from frequent crashes, login problems, and poor stability, particularly after Android OS updates. The UI is subpar and some users dislike mandatory permissions for features they don't use. Voice dictation is glitchy, sometimes hijacking phone calls and Bluetooth connections, which frustrates many. Overall, while it has some utility for quick tasks, the app is unstable and lacks polish.
Pros
- Allows quick access to patient schedules and charts for simple tasks
- Provides basic functionality for placing orders, reviewing notes and labs
- Has voice dictation feature for note-taking despite issues
- Useful in situations like overnight calls and pages
Cons
- App frequently crashes, freezes, or fails to load especially after Android updates
- Persistent login and authentication issues with the app
- Poor user interface and glitchy performance overall
- Excessive permission requests that feel unnecessary for basic functions
- Voice dictation often malfunctions and takes over phone calls and Bluetooth devices without control
Recent reviews
Does the job in a pinch. Can put orders, review notes and labs, and easy to dictate short notes. Cannot order IV fluids or prescriptions but enough for those overnight calls and pages. The UI is mediocre, and the app ceaHws and randomly has trouble logging in but overall I've come to find this suitable for simple tasks.

As glitchy as I expected. Stuck in a verification authentication loop. After 14 yrs using powerchart at work, I don't know why I expected a good result trying to utilize the app version.
