UPDATE, RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER: My Android is a "Tepin, model number HPPL63A". Please do respond back as I would love to be able to use this app and I'll be the first to admit if it was user error. The dog was pacing back and forth, which while tedious is commonly referred to....as motion. The scanner didn't recognize this animal moving, even though I set it on animal. I was pondering just exactly what extent of motion would your app capture and offer an alarm of sorts. Methinks your app was befuddled by the lack of movement. My suggestion, a new can of compressed air and WD 40
