User reviews
Users appreciate the app's clear train departure info and parking payment features, but commonly mention frustrating issues like unreliable real-time updates, slow trip planning, complicated parking transactions, resetting default stations, and general usability problems. Many find the app clunky with poor responsiveness, limited customization, and bugs that impact everyday use.
Pros
- Provides necessary BART train departure information clearly.
- Includes parking payment functionality for BART stations.
- Offers trip planning and favorite trip features.
- Useful for new or infrequent BART riders.
- Some users find it a decent official app compared to third-party alternatives.
Cons
- Parking payment process is cumbersome and has usability issues, including requiring multiple clicks and initial deposits.
- App often lacks real-time accuracy and live updates, making train times and cancellations unreliable.
- Trip planner functionality is buggy, resets date/time unnecessarily, and is slow to fetch results.
- Poor user experience and clunky interface design, with limited customization options like default stations resetting and inability to adjust arrival times.
- Issues with app stability such as losing parking payment options, app needing to be restarted to refresh times, and problems logging in or managing accounts.
Recent reviews
Daily parking payment 4 clicks too many unless you setup a wallet auto pay. I use this app for the daily parking irregularly weekly. 2 clicks for all is ideal. Otherwise the parking payment is fine. As for the line up at or near the station, sometime is off or behind, takes some time to sync with the actual real time display at the station

It's... Okay. The default station always resets to 12th Street, even if you have stations starred. No way to customize, what are we, iOS users? Edit: Thanks for the response, but you should consider the fact that regular users may not want to turn on location services. Edit: it would be good to include a functional for reporting maintenance issues on trains (like the Bart police app). Seats/ cabins are frequently dirty these days, and doors between trains are starting to stick.
