Real-Time General

Real-Time General is an immersive massively multiplayer online strategy game set on June 6th, 1944, during World War II. Players take on the role of a General commanding various military units such as infantry, armor, artillery, and air support in massive campaigns lasting two months in real-time. Actions like digging trenches or fighting battles unfold over realistic timeframes, requiring careful planning and teamwork.

Players cooperate with hundreds of others to execute combined-arms maneuvers featuring artillery barrages, flanking attacks, smoke screens, and air cover. Choose from various roles including the U.S. 101st paratroopers, British artillery regiments, or Canadian armored units. As your battalion gains veterancy, unlock new units and perks, earn medals, and climb the ranks to command more players.

The game features over 30,000 km² of detailed Normandy terrain modeled on real-world geography, including beaches, bocage, woodlands, swamps, and towns. Even when offline, your queued commands influence the outcome over days and weeks, making Real-Time General a unique, strategic wartime experience.
