Not possible to do anything without creating an account first. Even if you don't need to sync your notes... Company justifies it with yet another marketing speech with no value.

THERE IS NO BETTER LIST AND NOTE APP ON THE MARKET. This is a free app but I would be surprised if any other app even reached close to the sophistication of this one. Not only is this app free and easy to use, but it has a plethora of fun options to design what you write. There are great options, for link and photo attachments for example. It syncs with a movie database for movie posters with a rating... really the list goes on and on as it why it is perfect.
