the only thing i don't like is that you have to fill your phone with rakuten apps to use the service. in pay pay only one app. Rakuten should think carefully about this issue.

Jlock68 (V-num), 2024-04-21I use it all the time for cashless payments in Japan because it may have the most reach (but Pay Pay is coming up strong). I can use it in all convenience stores and some supermarkets. I get VAT/sales tax reduction paybacks and points too. I generally charge it with cash in convenience stores.
