Did not take a single photo, when hooked up by cable to my Canon dslr. And as others have said, it turns your volume all the way up, and screeches a loud noise. If you turn it down, it immediately turns it back up. Doesn't work anyway, so I deleted it.

Why it stops working with Android 12 phones? I have been using this app from so many years. Recently upgraded my phone and now it doesn't work.

very useful, if your phone has IR. I have a proprietary IR device (battery always low) and 2 wired remotes and the camera has WiFi control but I still find it easier to use this app
