I'm a new user after Kindle stopped supporting magazines. Overall Zinio gets the job done. However, I do have one bug and 2 suggestions. The bug is that the screen timeout is not working with the settings for my phone. If you are reading as you go to bed and fall asleep, the screen stays on all night. The two suggestions that Kindle did better 1) To have a lock screen rotate option in the app. 2) Add a text view option, similar to the Kindle format, reads like a book.

Greg Baber, 2024-11-08Zinio is a nice idea, but the execution is terrible. If you have fast wi-fi, the app hangs for several minutes when starting up, and when switching from one magazine to another, but when off-line, the app does not work at all. The magazine selection is very limited. The reading experience is poor, as the text is to hard to read in page view, and when zooming in, it is hard to scroll around and easy to get disoriented. Nothing has improved since the app was first created, so it will be surpassed.
