App worked great for nearly a year, then at random, it quit connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. I've reset the gimbal like the tutorial states, I've ensured it is not a setting or permission on my phone that got changed, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing! If/ when they fix the app, I'll update the review and rate it higher.

This app is like the cakes you see on a bakery window. Looks good and has all the features but it's fake. It works fine if you want to just take photos, but you don't need a sledgehammer to break a nut. I got the smooth 4 that allegedly works with that app but although the remote control etc works when taking a video, if you turn around the image is jerking or shuddering. You can use the phones app but it's not controlled by the gimbal, so it's pointless. Such a waste of time (and money)
