Too many resource types. 4 types of resources are needed. 3 of which are needed for building. There is a constant shortage of resources. You end up with overages of one item and a shortage of another. You can lose 100's of thousands in resources in a single attack. There is no leveling or shields to help you protect your resources from way more powerful enemies. Very limited war zone which requires resources to expand. Very frustrating! The speed up attack, warships, and statues add variety.

Jeffrey Timmons, 2025-02-02I've been playing since day 1 release, and since day 1, matchmaking has been broken. Obviously boom beaches player base is significantly smaller than clash of clans and clash Royale, but we are a loyal fan base. Despite this, they refuse to revamp the way matchmaking is done. Im a level 68 overall, which is a direct reflection on the amount of upgrades that have been completed in base. So it doesn't make any sense why I consistently get dominated by level 75+ players. It's broken.
