Been using this one for years. Still ad free and does what its supposed to do. Other apps usually try to sneak in ads or other bad features over time, but not this one.

Excellent App..No unnecessary permissions are requested. UPDATE: Excellent. UPDATE: Can you please provide zoom-in function for capturing QR codes displayed on screens in large conferences / events, etc, from a distance.

Best simple QR code reader, it does not have annoying ads and the app is very lightweight. I don't know why this is not at the top of the search results and it's burried down in the results.
