BBC Radio content continues to be excellent. However, the lack of support for Android devices only a few years old that happened when Sounds was launched must not happen again. In future updates let us hope this will be addressed. There is also an occasional need to make a data connection in order to play previously downloaded content, which, given the still patchy nature of 4G in non-metroplitan areas, is very annoying.

The layout of this app is poor. I have to click so many times to get to the options I want. I feel like the app ought to know what my favourite programmes are and what over recently been listening to but I still have to go through hoops to get to what I want to listen to. The search function is also very poor. The BBC content is excellent though
