No other app comes close, AIMP ticks ALL of my boxes, and has extra bells and whistles on top of my minimum requirements. One of which is an inbuilt preamp! So when your earphones top out at max volume you can keep cranking them further! Really really customizable function and aesthetic wise. Thank you AIMP. I used Pi music player for more than 10 years but it wont read some of my playlists anymore. This is looking like a big upgrade so far :)

This is a very good implementation of the original AMP music player. One functionality I badly Miss. When I come back, reopen the player, the last played song is visible. It would be nice from there to go back to the folder where it came from, and also backup further in the folder tree. Perhaps there is a way to do this already and I may be missing the how to?
